Originating from Tsumeb, Namibia, Jolene’s family moved to the US, where as a child she found a love for the community theater in her small town in New Jersey. Her family later moved to Colorado where she got her start in theater; her professional debut starring as Katherine in the Denver Victorian Theaters’ production of Tennessee Williams’ “Suddenly Last Summer”. A couple of years were spent working with the Universal Stuntman’s Association in a Wild West show at Elitch Gardens’, “jumping out of windows, busting whiskey bottles over each other’s heads, firing big guns…crazy fun!”. Having completely fallen in love with acting, she soon packed up and moved to Southern California where she started working in film and television, animation and video games. You’ve seen her darker side in shows like “Criminal Minds”, “The Nine Lives Of Chloe King” and “In Plain Sight” and her lighter side in comedies like “Casual ” and “The New Normal”. Her love of independent film is clear in projects like “Prodigy” where she plays a CIA agent trying to save a child with supernatural powers, “Katherine’s Lullaby” a suspense thriller about a delusional recluse, playing the wife that hopes to keep her family together, and most recently , a dutiful wife to an uninspired writer in “Seven Devils”, a psychological thriller. Her first foray into animation came when she was thrilled to be offered the role of secret agent Ada Wong in Resident Evil, Damnation. Although she was the motion capture actor for the animated film, she was given the opportunity to do a full performance in RE 2, both voicing the character and performing the motion capture – fully reprising her role as the indomitable iconic character. She was also given the opportunity to both voice and do the motion capture for Sophia in the latest Tomb Raider, “Rise Of The Tomb Raider”, where, as the military leader of the Remnants, she and Lara Croft become allies to defeat the forces of Trinity. She went on to voice Commander Sarah Briggs, leader of the Marauder Corps and commander of the Frontier Militia in Titan Fall 2. She is currently working on an upcoming video game for another much loved franchise, an action film, “Attack Of The Unknown”, and loving life in Los Angeles.
