London based Dolya Gavanski is an award winning filmmaker, writer and an established actress, who has worked with many respected directors including Michael Winterbottom, Angelina Jolie, Trevor Nunn and Susanna White.She has extensive experience in film, television and theatre, both on stage and as a producer of plays ranging from Shakespeare’s dramas through to contemporary classics. As a voice actress Dolya has done numerous BBC radio plays and series, as well as computer games.

Dolya also runs a production company, Thea Films. She is currently completing her feature documentary, Women’s Day, that includes astounding stories by women born in the USSR, survivors and pioneers.

Dolya grew up in several countries, trained in acting in Moscow and London before going on to study at Cambridge University.
